A Holy Hour With Jesus

First Friday Adoration

Join us every 1st Friday of the month between 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for quiet, personal prayer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration is followed by 7:00 p.m. Mass on First Fridays.

Adoration is also offered every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., providing an additional opportunity for quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.

Jesus is present in the Most Holy Eucharist. Eucharistic Adoration is a time of personal, silent prayer with Jesus, to speak to Him as a friend would, heart to heart. Adoration of God is encouraged and the Church leads people in this worship with a Rite of Exposition and Benediction.

“To adore God is to acknowledge him as God, as the Creator and Savior, the Lord and Master of everything that exists, as infinite and merciful Love…. The worship of the one God sets man free from turning in on himself, from the slavery of sin and the idolatry of the world.”

Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2096–2097

“Adoration means entering the depths of our hearts in communion with the Lord, who makes himself bodily present in the Eucharist. In the monstrance, he always entrusts himself to us and asks us to be united with his Presence, with his risen Body.”

Pope Benedict XVI, March 2, 2006
